Entry Conditions
How to apply and submit your application?
Authors can register and submit their work on the iCAT 2012 website - competition "Free Form Challenge" where you can select the competition topic(s) in which you wish to participate, and submit the title(s) of your work(s) and other mandatory entries.
Entry Conditions
authors can address their work in one of the following forms: drawing*, 3D model in one of CAD file formats (IGS, STEP) or STL file format
authors must write a brief description of their work(s) (300-500 letters)
NOTE: Your models should not exceed overall size 240 mm (in any direction). Models should be submitted in 1:1 scale. Renders and drawings shoud be submitted on A4 format. Maximum upload size for internet submission is 10 MB per file.
* In the event that an author addresses work in the form of a drawing, it must include all aspects of technical drawing (top-view, front-view, side-view and some presentational views), which will allow the jury an insight into the idea, and will offer the possibility of drawing a 3D computer model. We can not take a responsibility for final interpretation of the 2D drawings, if there is not enough information to design a 3D STL file.
Submission deadline
The submission deadline for the design competiton FREE FORM CHALLENGE has been moved to APRIL 30th, 2012. Responsibility for on-time submission lies with the author.
